fariha, Do you mean Video (.amv) or Images (.jpg, .bmp).
If you mean video did you convert them yourself or download theme?
What version of AMV Convesion Tool are you using?
What size is your LCD?

Can you tell me what picture formats work fine and which one doesn't? Or maybe some .jpg pictures work and some don't, is that what you mean?

I just Copy & paste My Pictures into my Mp4
& pictures r jpg & they works fine & some jpg pictures doesnt work they give format error :( :(

fariha,

Check the file SIZE of the jpg pictures.
It might be that up to a certain file size of JPG files, it won't play them on your player.

I know that even within Windows, much larger JPG files won't player either at times.

Although the file may say JPG, the way it image was made might make it unreadable to the MP4 player.

If the picture shows up on your desktop, but not on your mp4 player (while other pictures do), then its the file.

Hello tada1 and admin, I have a question about format error also....
I have a foston Model FS-66 and the screen is 1.5''....I used to use the amv convert tool 3.68. When I use the 128x128 size I got the right side of the video cut, a little bit, but cut. and sometimes it durring 20 minutes playing without error give me the error format, the video get mixed and the player sometimes stuck.

I corrected that converting it to 128x96 but I would like very much to use the FULL screen, no only part of it....

Could you please help me with that, rotate the screen to watch the video in the horiz. not on the vertical....or use another tool to force and convert the video to fit the full screen.....

Please help me with this....

I have already edited.....the transformsetup.ini and did not worked, the last try I used virtualdub to rotate but......when converting to amv, it mixed everything.....

my player is 1.5"

please help me friend.

Try dropping your frame rate to Medium it is only 2 frames per second less than high but fixed the problem on my player.
Also if you want to rotate the picture you need to edit the AmvTransform.ini not the transformsetup.ini

BMPADJUST=4 or BMPADJUST=5 will rotate left or right.


The reason why you are getting part of the picture cut off is you are converting a rectangle to a square.

but I have tried everything you mentioned and nothing worked....
The video continue to cut in the right and the rotate did not work...

do you have any more ideas???
I have virtual dub here, pocketdivxencode.....etc....

guivarrichio, If you resize to 128x128 with VirtualDub and then convert to AMV with focus mode setting to 0 you will not get any chop, however you are going to also have to crop the sides off.

Hello Tadad1, I have done what you suggested...

1- I went to virtual dub and resize the video to 128x128
2- Crop the sides of like your picture.....
3- Converted to AMV with focus mode 0

and it looked good......take a look........(but)

guivarrichio, You may find that your player can not handle full screen at high frame rate, try dropping the frame rate to medium in AMV Converter settings.

guivarrichio, I think the players cpu crashes because it can not keep up, mine is the same. Enjoy South Park :)

The best answer would be, just come back on a regular basis. Help to answer some questions if you can. Once you start experimenting with your player and using it more, you will build up good knowledge and hopefully can 'help' out any new users of MPx players which might have problems or questions.

guivarrichio, Man I can picture you sitting on a bus or train laughting and people looking at you and thinking you are LOCO :) . I find the players are well suited for cartoon type video not to much detail and bright colours makes them easier to watch.
