Problems converting XVid to AMV
 

Anyone else have problems converting movies in Xvid format to AMV? I have all the needed codecs and such, i am using AMV converter 3.57 (its more stable than 4.0).

Or do i need to convert it back to a normal AVI file?

razzer001, are you sure you have xvid and divx codecs installed.

I am having problems too converting xvid to amv.
One movie I tried crashes after a while playback and on another that I tried the playback is unstable.

Framerate ist constant then slows down, faster than slows down somehow a wosh effect.

I think it would be much better converting the xvid file to normal avi mp4 and then to amv format.

Have you tried ver 3.68 of the AMV Convert tool instead?

Also, have you tried putting the tick in "user other codec" in the settings of the AMV Convert Tool to see if that helps?
