Problem with AMV_Convert_368
 

Hello friend i write from Italy,

I have a problem with amv convert 368 dowloaded from your site.

Download and install 3.68.
Once installed, in order to obtain 160x128 resolution, you must edit the AmvTransform.ini file. Open it in notepad, and in this string:

VIDEOSIZE=96X64(8;10;12),128X96(8;10;12),128X128(8 ;10;12)

insert 160x128(8;10;12)

VIDEOSIZE=96X64(8;10;12),128X96(8;10;12),128X128(8 ;10;12),160x128(8;10;12)

The problem is that i can't change into 160*128 becouse i can't see this resolution but only the 3 old.

stefanor, 3.68 will not convert 160x128, you need version 4.0 or version 3.57. I use 3.57 because there is no way to adjust the settings in version 4.0 and the default settings give me Format Errors.

Hello tadad, i had already read your interesting post. Using convert 4 i haven't any problem, my china i-pod read very well the format standard 160*120 at 16 fps. I am serching how convert at 160*128 at 16 fps. I have found the md of the string at 3.68 version. With your mod ad 3.57 i haven't the resolution at 160*128. I hope i have understand. Excuse me for my english.

If you use AMV Convert Tool 3.57, then read this post by tadad: http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic.php?t=449

Convert a file, then go into your C:\Program Files\MP3 Player Utilities 3.57\AMVTools and look for a fle called transformsetup.ini.

Open up the file using Notepad, then edit the line that says:

VWH=128*96

Change that to the size you want (example: VWH=160*128 instead).

Try that and let me know if that works.

stefanor, 160x128 did not work for me I needed to set it to 160x120 otherwise it defaulted to 96x64.
