playing .MTV, garbled images
 

I've downloaded a video file in .mtv format but when i loaded it in my player, the player read it as mp3 and the video i see is just garbled images on screen. Any idea how i can correct the problem???

ljlayos, Your player may not be MTV compatible, try downloading an AMV format video from the Samples section HERE

Try downloading sample videos from our [Downloads] area here then upload it to your player and see if you can see it.

Try both .MTV and .AMV files to see if they work. These have been tested to work, so if they display correctly on your player, then it's the way you have encoded them or your computer might not have the necessary codecs.

Try that and let me know what happens.
