( Solved )Pocketdivxencoder problem
 

Hi everyone,
Ive been using a prog called dvd ripper to analyse contents on my dvds, and then ripping to wmv, as a preliminary step before converting to amv. Works perfectly.

My problem is when I rip, a file is created on desktop called VIDEO_TS, which hold the individual wmv files - this is where I extract normally with amv converter with no hassle. However I decided to give pocketdivxencoder a try, but when i choose browse, it sees the desktop folder, but will not see the wmv files contained in it ?? I cant get it to recognise the contents at all ?

Does anyone have any idea why this wont work - is pocketdivx resticted to certain formats?

Simonski, Yeah pocketdivx only uses a few file types but I was able to rip .vob files straight off the dvd with it.

May give the vob conversion a go when I get a chance - less long winded I guess ..
