AMV Converter 4.03 problems

Hello to everyone, and sorry for my bad and rusty english. I have recently bought a 1.8" mp4 player (a bit different from those on this site, perhaps only in the look).
I've been able to encode different videos with the correct resolution (160x120), without problems, using AMV encoder 3.57 (4.00 don't give the possibility to change frame rate). Now i've downloaded the 4.03, but it gives me some problem: i select 160x120 but it keeps to encode to another resolution, 176x128, useless with my player. I've tried to change parameters manually in the .ini files, but without success.
Other problem: i change the image quality from low to middle to high, but i don't see any difference, the image is always the same, and the file size also.
So, my question is: are all the options in 4.03 only unlocked but not working, or is it only a problem of mine?
About the audio... it seems to encode to 88k... kilobits or kilobytes? I think kilobytes, but 88 KB should be a wav file mono, 16 bits, 44100hz, not 22050hz. However it's still possible to use another wav file (you can convert the audio in wav 44100-22050-16000-11025..., 8-16 bits, mono-stereo..., using an audio editor, and then select in AMV converter this file instead of the original one present in the avi. I've tried different combinations, but the 22050-16-mono is still the best choice)
Thank you, ciao ciao

avvalex,
Yeah it seems even though the option for 160x120 is there the smallest it will convert to is 176x128. Also it stll encode the audio at 22k despite it showing 88k. One of these days we will see a release of the program that has no bugs., but do not hold your breath.
Like me you best stick to 3.57.

Version 4.03 is good if you have a 1.5 screen though but you need to edit the AmvTransform.ini in the AMV Converter folder and change CHIPTYPE to the value 0. Then the sizing options for 1.5 LCD will become available.
