[solved]disc full error when converting dvd to amv
i get a disc full error when it has converted about half way in amv converter when converting dvd to amv but my pc disc is not full i have 40 gbs free any help please and thanks

Most probably, you are using Win98 and FAT32 file system which has a maximum file size limitation... I forgot what exactly is the maximum allowed size, but my guess is that is what's bugging you... I'm not sure how to solve it without some really big changes...

Can you tell me how you are converting the DVD to AMV? Are you using a two step process or straight .vob to .AMV? |

admin i used xmpeg then amv but it does not work on amv |
cv1, This problem has cropped up before, and we never found a reason for it. HERE is the original post by "Prasanna" we spent some time trying to overcome it, he finally got around the problem by splitting his .avi file into smaller pieces then converting.

i have fixed the problem but thank it seems the avi that the xmpeg made was corrupted so i used different programs to do it
