Does Anyone Know How To Convert to 128x160 For 1.8" Scr
 

I have AMV converter in utilities 4.03, there is no option for screen resolution 128x160. I can use 192x160 and flip anticlockwise 90degrees but I lose edges off the video. 128x128 has a border either side of the video. Any suggestions??

Bradders, 128x160 is not possible. The standard sizes are 160x120, 128x128, 128x96 and 94x64.
Although 4.03 has a setting for 160x120 it will onlyconvert to a minimum of 176x128 which will crash a 1.8 player.

i have the same problem..... 4.03 does not work....

there si no solution for this... not with 4.03. Try 4.00 or 3.57 for 160x120.

160x128 resolution is possible because my player came with videos at that resolution. the question is how did they convert those videos to 160x128?

Maybe you can change the sizes in AmvTransform.ini in the Program Files?

my problem is solved!! i tried using the version 3.57 transformsetup.ini trick and it worked! thanks to tadad1!!

now i can play my videos at full screen! Tnx tadad1!

mine came with a choice for 160x120

I downloaded k-lite and it is now playing, but it is all slanted and I cant make out what it is on the screen you are showing. Im pretty new at this so sorry. Thank you for all your help. Any other ideas would be great :)

I didnt understand: what the problem is? U cant see what in the instruction.avi or U cant understand what is happaning there?

its quite simple to use 128x160 conversion its included in option for MP3 tools conversion theres an option for 128x128 and 128x160 BTW when you convert it to 128x160 u get additional memory usage for converting..

I am new to this too (lots of us after chriastmas!!)

XUser, I tried your file - size 128x160 rotation 90 12 fps - on my 1.8 " Mp4, but it plays upside down and cuts out after 12 sec (all videos I have made so far do this). I will test others but meanwhile any suggestions? The only video that plays is one that came loaded on the unit. The AMV player gives me a 160x120 resolution at 16 fps. I have been unable to reproduce this with converters of various versions.

tonypisa, I do not know what version of MP3 Player Utilities you are using but for 1.8 LCD 160x120 you should be using version 4.00 or version 3.57 set up as posted here:

tadad, as I said "various" versions, including 3.68, 4.00, 4.03, 4.07. It's driving me nuts. The windows player tells me the coverted files are 16 fps at 160x120, but on the player they all stop at about 12 sec. I am wondering if earlier versions were not completely uninstalled and are scrweing things up. I am switching to another computer to see how that works.
