Has anyone solved this problem yet?
Ive got a new player and cant convert any videos because of this issue. If somebody has the AVIConverter 1.0 PLEASE UPLOAD!. Im going to install the latest version of the Xvid codec and see if 2.0 works.I will report back if it does. Ive tried virtually everything without any results.

Please upload 1.0 to this site if you have it.

Hi all

this is my first post so hope it helps someone

after buying a new 2" PMP player after being used to my1.8" MP4 model I suddenly discovered that it was a rockchip machine and started to panic when I thought that I couldn't convert my videos

However those very kind people at Uxcell have a programme that works perfectly with my machine
it can be downloaded here AViConverter 2.0 software

I am now so happy with my player , the 3d sound is amazing and the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the recording microphone is a blessing at rock concerts

I'd highly recommend you taking a look at a rockchip player !!

Just one thing to note

I have used DVD shrink to initially extract the Vob files to my hard disk before converting to AVI with this software but I realised last night that when you do this you need to only burn the audio track that want to be converted, do not burn multiple audio tracks.

there doesn't seem to be an option in this software to specify which audio track you want and it automatically selects a track for you in the AVI
When I didn't do this and just converted the Vobs, I ended up with the first Vob file with my english audio track, the second with the directors commentary, the third with Spanish and the fourth with German !!

Hi guys! Before anything, im Christian from Argentina!
I'd solved this issue with this mp4 player because i've the same one.

The solution is download an older version of "MENCODER.EXE" and paste into the program folder. Just try download an older version atMPlayer Web Page and it's work fine

C-ya!

hi there! i also have a rockchip-based mp4 player. it doesnt play .AMV files, only .AVI files encoded with xvid. I used the original AVConverter 1.0 that came with the player, as well as AVIConverter2.0 and 2.1 that came in this site. All programs were able to convert my videos and they all play on the player. I just noticed that if i convert .ASF or .WMV files, the sound is distorted on the player, whereas if i convert .MPG files, it plays perfectly on the player! any ideas?

i also have questions regarding ID3 tags. my player only recognized ID3v1, but it only displays the artist. ID3v2 doesnt work, it displays gibberish info. any ideas on how to make this work? i was able to make this work on a nano look-alike, and i was succesful with ID3v1, but with this rockchip-based mp4, i am stuck! hope someone can help me.

thanks in advance!

I need help. I have a RockChip mp4 player. I've used just about every avi converter out there and nothing seems to work. I converted a vob to the same properties as the sample avi file in the player and I keep getting "File Format Error" when I try to play the converted vob to avi file. Any suggestions? This is driving me nuts.
