Hello!

I'm a hungarian, and I made a converter program(Alpha mp4 = Rockchip 2"). You can download this my webpage: alpha-mp4.extra.hu

At the bottom of page have 3 links, this name is Letöltés. The first letöltes is the program, the second the config.ini and the last is a sample video!

You can download the program and setup it! In c:\Program Files\Avconcerter you copy the config.ini file, and use the converter!

Goodbye!

Sorry, guys, but none of this works. Well, some does, but you get a movie about 300-400 MB. That's stupidly wasteful on a 2" screen.

The answer is to get viDrop, which has 3 presets for Rockchip and you can modify them how you like. I am using 15fps about 90kbit/s 2-pass for the video and 48 kbit/s for the audio. Works like a charm and the movie is only ~100 MB.

This thread is full of wrong info. Don't believe any of it. Just get viDrop. It works. You can use it for general video encoding as well. Go here:

I recommend also you get the Windows Essentials codec pack for mplayer and unzip it into the viDrop program folder. Then you will be able to transcode just about anything.
