Xujondas, If you want to use the newer versions you can edit the AmvTransform.ini in the AMV Converter folder and change CHIPTYPE=1 to CHIPTYPE=0, this will unlock the smaller screen settings.

Hi, I want to know if there is any converter software that i cuold use ina restricted windows profile that avoid win register changes or adds.
Thanks from now one!!!

Guschavito, There is only the one AMV Converter tool which is part of MP3 Player Utilities. The only info it adds to your registry is loction, file type association and uninstall information.
If you let me know what size screen you have I can upload the program folder of the version you require for you that you can just place in the Program Files folder. It will still work but will have no install or uninstall.

I use a version 3.68, but why is the option to change the screen width and height grayed out? only converts to 96x64 something like that.

tadad1 18th Oct 2006 3:45 am

pit bull, When you load your video for conversion double click, or right click and choose settings on the file in the bottom window. This should open the settings window and allow you to select the output size you want.
