Default Problems with video and sound

Hi all. First, sorry for my English. My native language is Spanish...

Ok, now.
I bought today an "iPod Nano" MP4 that is the same MP3 Player of Wilson.... ok.

I have two problems:
When I can "click" on the FM Radio, it says: "Hard Error" and I can't use it.

The second problem is, that I can't see well my videos. I use the 4.05 utilities and I tried all the resolutions but in all I have problems. The little is that the sound sucks, with jumps, breaks, etc...

Please, I don't have any manual, any CD, I don't know if it's 1.5 or 1.8... but I want to see my videos!.

Thanks.

Gatech,
Did your player come with a sample video? If you did copy it to your computer and open it with AMV Player, while it is running right click on the picture and choose properties. You will then see info on the size and frame rate like this.

Click the image to open in full size.

If your sample is 160x120 then you should use Version 4.00
If it is 128x128 or 128x96 you can still use Version 4.05 but you need to go to the AMV Converter folder and open the AmvTransform.ini in notepad and change the line CHIPTYPE=1 to CHIPTYPE=0, this will unlock the size settings you need.

Hard error when you try to enter the radio function could indicate that your player is not fitted with a radiop chip or if it is the chip may be faulty. This is a problem you should take up with the seller as it is not something you can fix within the firmware.

If your player is new I suggest you extract and repair the firmware from your player using s1fwx HERE and you will find a guide to how to do this in the Knowledge Base HERE

By the way I think your English is great unlike my Spanish

Espere que esto ayude y dé la bienvenida a mympxplayer.org

Default Re: Problems with video and sound

Thanks for all!. Now the video is great and the audio also.

I have more questions:
* The problem of the FM is here also, need I go to the seller?. I can...
* I can see a problem: the volume in videos is VERY low, in maximum (31) I think that is very low... and in the MP3 isn't the great sound... I can't live with it... If I see a video in the street I can't hear anything!... What can I do?.
* Can I fix and up the FPS of the videos? In my res (128x128) I have only 12.... Ok, if I can't there is no problem...

Now this is all...

Thanks for all friends.
* Gracias por todo tadad1, ten un buen día y saludos a todos!.

Gatech.

Gatech,
I think the problem with your FM is a hardware issue so if you want to use the radio I think you should go back to your seller.

Regarding the volume of your AMV videos what format are you converting from .rmb, .vob, .avi ?
Have you installed any codec packs to your PC?

Because the players CPU is not very powerful 12fps is the best you will get at 128x128, some players can only manage 10fps so there is nothing you can do about that.
