Hi all i just bought my first mp4 player from ebay which is 2gb 1.8" screen and supports the above formats.I have installed mp3 utillities 3.57 and I am having big problems in converting the films I download to .amv I have read how to use the amv converter from other posts and i do as it says but i keep getting status error when I try to convert could anyone please help me i would really appreciate it this is the link for my player.

freelander, If you have edited the transformsetup.ini and set VFBS=medium and still have the problem you may need to pre-process your your video with virtualdub or some other video conversion software and set your frame rate to 12fps to match the amv setting.
The other thing that could help is to give your player a format in fat.

where do i gewt virtual dub from another thing when i use the amv convert tool and play 1 of my movies it only has sound , thanks for your reply tadad1

You can format with the MP3 Player Disk Tool that comes with AMV Converter in MP3 Player Utilities.

The sound thing sounds like you might have a codec problem so download and install K-Lite Mega Codec pack here
