AMV converted file -> format error

First of all thanks to everyone that will help me. Now I describe what I've done and which is my problem
I have a 4gb player similar to ipod one with a 1,5" display (I don't know if it's a fuck but for the moment it plays well and is of the correct storage dimension). I've dowlnloaded from mympxplayer the amv converter 3,68 I have downloade the codec from this site http://www.codecguide.com/
After that I'vre installed both and I've done a short conversion (30 second fron a 50 minutes file). The parameters used are 128x128 - frames for second=middle, image quality=high, image focus=mode2 and I've checked the box tryother codec. The conversion seems to be ok, because the amv player on the pc works correctly. After that i copy the file in the right directory on the player (mp4) and when I try to show it the player gives the message "Format error". In the player it's present a "native" amv file that is shoved correctly.
I don't know what I've to change, who can help me ?

brignuca,
If your player is a 4GB then it is a Fake, no 4GB chipods at the moment. Your problem could be due to the hacked memory chip.

Firstly try a conversion at 128x96 and see if you have any errors.

The other thing you can do that may help is pre-process your video with VirtualDub before converting to AMV.

You can download VirtualDub here
http://www.mympxplayer.org/virtualdub-mpeg2-df370.html

I have uploaded a VirtDub settings profile here
http://uploaded.to/?id=9de70b

Open VirtDub and load the video you want to convert. Press CTRL+L and load the settings profile then select file save as AVI

Once you have passed the video through Virtualdub then convert it to AMV 128x128, frames per second mediun , image quality high, mode=0

If this does not help then I would say your hacked chip is causing the problem.

Let me know how you go.

The first shot doesn't work (conversion 129x96) now I'm converting a file. I want to add that I can't se photos, I have the same format error ! I'll tell you after the shot with vitual dub. I supopose to have equal error, in this case (as you say the hacked chip is causing the problem) what can I do ? I have to format the player ?

Magic solution, I've cleaned the palyer and all it's ok photos and amv video. I try to better explain. Before cleaning the % of usage of the showed memory (4gb as you say only 2gb real) was 51% then I'v cancelled a avi file of 1,2gb. Then I've copied the same files that gave format error and now they works. Probably is an addressing problem. The player is seen as a 4gb from the pc but it's only 2gb. Now then only 1,5gb are used everything is ok.
Now I make some new try to fill over 50% to verify if this is the real problem

brignuca, In the long run you are best to remove the hack as it will only give you problems.

Sorry tadad1 english is not my language and I havn't ubnderstood wekk, what do you mean in the last answer ? can you explain with different words.
I confirm the previous analysis, when I fill the player over 50% (2gb) the copy ended regular but the files are not usebale both by the player then by the pc
