I am using the avi output on the smartsoft video converter. Is that right?

psmith0103,I have never had a Sigmatel player so I have never used the SMV converter but a format error on an amv conversion can usually be fixed by lowering the frame rate.

What are you using smartsoft video converter for?

i found something on my mp4 player

PMP Transcoding Tool

1. Version

e) Cannot support multiple selections in CD mode with ¡°shift¡± and ¡°ctrl¡± key.
4. Compatible issues
a) On Win 98/Me, please install ANSI version. Must reboot system after installing DirectX9
b) On Win NT/2000/XP, please install UNICODE version.
5. Known Problems
a) On Traditional Chinese Win 98/Me, can not support media conversion of filename or folder with Simplified Chinese characters
6. Conversion Mode
a) Media mode
i. Video and Audio, Only Video ? ASF
ii. Only Audio(MP3 VBR, WAV) ? MP3
b) CD mode
i. Compact Disk Audio Track ? MP3
c) Image mode
i. Image File ? JPG

but i don't know what is this for.

tintin19, PMP transcoding tool is a video converter usually used by Sunplus chipsets. The rest is just babble about release notes. If you want to try a PMP Transcoder you can get one here:

tintin19, I have no problem downloading it. The only thing I can think of is if you are using a download accelerator program you need to disable it because you can only use them on rapidshare if you have a paid account.

i've been doing this for the past 2 days
and i can't figure it out how to put videos on my mp4
i think i should give up now Y_Y
well i should bought a regular mp3 player if i can't watch videos on this mp4 that i bought
***sigh
man! i'm pissed now
ne ways thanx for your help tadad1
i might try again next time
but i really want to fix this
