I installed the Chinese version from the link you provided and pressed the 'convert now' button, it greyed out so that it cant be pressed again. i waited for about half and hour and still nothing, i checked the output folder and there was nothing there. Which is exactly the same response i got with the chinese version that came with the mp4 player and the english 2.0 version.

The scrubs file was recognised by my mp4 player but didn't work, although the ice age clip worked perfectly.

This is my player...

What shows in the "progress" window as your waiting for it to convert?

Can you try another computer?

Do you have "divx" codecs installed?

Dave,

In the progress window it just says 0% and stays on that no matter how long you leave it. I didn't manually download any divX codecs but i think they get installed when i run the setup file...

I just installed the program on my sisters laptop and the program worked perfectly, i put the avi file on my mp4 player from my sisters laptop and everything worked with no problems at all...

so it must be something on my computer thats not letting the program work...

hi there! i also have a rockchip-based mp4 player. it doesnt play .AMV files, only .AVI files encoded with xvid. I used the original AVConverter 1.0 that came with the player, as well as AVIConverter2.0 and 2.1 that came in this site. All programs were able to convert my videos and they all play on the player. I just noticed that if i convert .ASF or .WMV files, the sound is distorted on the player, whereas if i convert .MPG files, it plays perfectly on the player! any ideas?

i also have questions regarding ID3 tags. my player only recognized ID3v1, but it only displays the artist. ID3v2 doesnt work, it displays gibberish info. any ideas on how to make this work? i was able to make this work on a nano look-alike, and i was succesful with ID3v1, but with this rockchip-based mp4, i am stuck! hope someone can help me.

thanks in advance!
