Problem with playing .amv Movie
Good day all,
Rilaard here. This is my first post to this forum. I am using the v3.5.37 firmware Mp3 player. I have successfully converted my .mpg movie files to .amv and is playable on my desktop. However, it says "Format Error" when i tried to play it on my Mp3 player. I'll appreciate if I can get it fixed ASAP. Thanks! *PS I am using the AMV Converter v3.68 and the resolution of my converted .amv file is 128x96. And I have tried uploading the movie file on other v3.5.37 firmware Mp3 player and it works. Warmest Regards, R i L a a r d |
rilaardho, Most format error warnings can be overdcome by lowering the frame rate to medium.
Also what codec pack do you have installed on your PC. |
ya i have same problem here...some of my files play but now none playin after conversion...i have same 2gb player as his...plz help im really frustated

Re: Problem with playing .amv Movie
ı Have the same problem. my mpxplayer firmware is TJD_1301_02 (2007-01-08) 9.1.50 (2006-12-15 When ı put my amv fileWhich is converted with3.68 and 3.57 mp3 utilities in mpxplayer there is lines imn video but when I convert it with 4.00,4.03 and 4.09 it the video is fine but it freezes after a few seconds. I have K-lite mega codec pack 1.52 and directx 9..
What should I do please help me! Note: My mpx player is 1.5 inch and 2 gb. |
First defragment the player's memory, these players can't really deal well with fragmented files. Specially when you remove single files from the player, this may start to happen. If this doesn't help, you have to lower the quality to medium or low, or reduce the screen size output, for the converted file.

rilaardo and terminator, first of all, i suggest you to format your player rather than defragment it.
http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-re...ck-vt2400.html masakupa, please format your player, then try converting using 3.68 and 3.57, avoid using versions above 4 as they are meant for players with big screen if the problem persists then try defragmenting but i think the problem should be solved after formatting. |
Re: Problem with playing .amv Movie
ı tried to format using mp3 player disc tool but it says ' no supporting with disk type' then ı formatted using partition and encrypt tool. and later ı formated it with windows. I converted video using mp3 player utulities 3.57 but ı still have the same problem.. The video in mp4 player looks like tv search mode. please help me.
note:my mp4 player was hacked and ıt seemed as if 4gb but after format ıt is 2gb now. |
before converting, have a look here
http://www.mympxplayer.org/using-vir...ons-vt805.html look at the properties of the video file you are converting, if it is 29fps, then use medium fps setting while converting it. if it is 25fps, then use high/low fps setting while converting. also what was your other problem? do you dont know how to change the fps setting or is it greyed out in the amv converter. I would recommend you to tick the 'Try Other Codec' option if you have a codec pack installed. if you dont then its highly recommended you do from the download section. Other setting i would recommend are: 1. fps according to what i told you above. 2. image quality - medium 3. focus : mode 0 |
Re: Problem with playing .amv Movie
thank you very much deepakrr. I did what you told and ı solved the problem. I did another thing to solve the problem and it works. First I converted the avi file to mpeg4 asf and then converted to amv. and this solved my problem too. thank you very much again..
