Default "disk full" notification even after .ini mod

I've tried both amvconverter 4.0 and 4.07. I've modified the disksize as shown on another thread for the 4.0, and it disksize entry was already in the 4.07 ini, but I continue to get the "disk full" message when converting movies in 160*120 mode (I have a 1.8" i-platinum). If I set the chiptype to anything but '1' it converts the movie without the error message, but 160*120 mode is no longer available. I've even tried increasing the disksive entry in the amvtransform.ini further, but in fact all that does is display the "disk full" message even earlier in the conversion, same with decreasing the disk size entry. Can someone please advise me of another fix for this, or do I have to continue splitting my avi files into smaller chunks, 'cause no only is that annoying but the jump and audio fade when the player transitions between files is aggrivating. :x
thanks inadvance!
