hey matthews, welcome to this site.

look at the properties of the video file you are converting, if it is 29fps, then use medium fps setting while converting it.

if it is 25fps, then use high/low fps setting while converting.

also what was your other problem? do you dont know how to change the fps setting or is it greyed out in the amv converter.

if you don't know how to change it, then what you have to do is:
1. select the video to be converted in the converter.
2. click/highlight the video where it says File Name etc in the lower part of the converter.
3. Then click on the gear on the right of the converter.

There you can change all the setting.

I would recommend you to tick the 'Try Other Codec' option if you have a codec pack installed. if you dont then its highly recommended you do from the download section.

Other setting i would recommend are:
1. fps according to what i told you above.
2. image quality - medium
3. focus : mode 0

hope this helps

to improve your amvs you can also try this

what version of the AMV converter you're using? my videos were doing fine with v 4.07, but the first time I tried with v 4.09 the video show the same problem. Maybe using another version of the converter can help

please try using only amv converter 3.68 or 3.57 for 1.5 inch and 1.8 inch screens and versions above 4 only for above 2 inch or 2 inch screens.
