Default FPS Issue

I have seen other posts where people are having problems with their converted videos skipping and jumping or even slowing down, and they have been advised to change the FPS for the vids.

I am just wanting to know how do you do this exactly?

Thanks for any help!

ok.

1. first right click on the video file you want to convert. go to properties. then to summary and have a look at the fps and note it down somewhere.

2. open the amv converter and select that file.

3. higlight that file by clicking on it name and then click on the gear icon in the converter to go to settings.

4. if the video was 25fps, then change the fps setting to high/low. if it was 29fps, then change the fps settings to medium.

5. other recommended settings irrespective of the fps of the video are
> image quality medium to reduce the output file size and prevent the video from crashing to the main menu in midway
>resolution 128x128 or 128x96 for 1.5 inch screen and 120x160 for 1.8 inch
>ticking the 'Try Other Codec' option after downloading and instaling k - lite codec pack from the download section
