Default amv video sound ...

I've been converting my videos with VirtualDub and then with AMV Converter and for some reason, my video's sound is way off and finishes way before the video is over. How can I remedy this?

Also, my AMV converter's lowest setting is 160x120. Is there a way to set it to 128x96 or 128x128?

I have a fake ipod Nano 1gb 1.5.

gtp300hp, for 128x128 or 128x96 try using version 3.68 on MP3 Player Utilities.

What settings are you using in VirtualDub?

I'm using all the settings in the tutorial that is posted here for VirtualDub except I lowered the frame rate to 16fps.

you should never try messing around with the frame rate as the audio goes out of synch.

if you had backed up the video then good, but if you didnt then try this method but it is a hit and trial method and is time consuming -

If you find your sound is out of sync on your AMV conversions you can adjust that in VirtualDub as well. Press CTRL+I to bring up the Audio Interleaving settings and set Audio Scew Correction to + settings if your audio is early or - settings if your audio is late. (eg. +300 or -300) Settings are in milliseconds and you will have to experiment to find the right settings for you.
