AMV Video Splitter

Hey, looking for a video splitter so I can chop up some of my video files to save all the fast fowarding i have to do through them. any1 know of such a program?

Dritermius,
You can use VirtualDub to split video files before converting to amv.
Load you video into VirtualDub from the menu bar select Video>Direct Stream Copy.

Audio>Direct Stream Copy.

Then File>Save segmented AVI.

When the save window opens you can se the size in MB you want to split the file into.

Then save, the whole process will only take a few seconds. Then convert the segments to AMV as normal.

i have a program that splits avis/mpegs, but that is not what i'm looking for. i have alot of amv videos i have downloaded, and wish to split up.

Dritermius , there are only that handful of .AMV software. And i don't think there is any software that is able to edit in .AMV format.

Most functions to do with editting the video itself, you will need to encode back to a common format (eg .mpg .avi etc), then edit it.
