So ur saying the converter cant keep the original bitrate?

Yes, all the files have the same output which is 22kbps...12fps...and only 1 channel

The original file got 44kpbs...29fps and like 2 channels i think

Ill try the dub if it solves the problem...

blzbub, No the player most likely could not process the original bitrate. My question was is the volume problem consistant with all your conversions or only some.

Changing the volume in the Dub wont work...

Yes all conversions have the same problem...

Maybe its the player cuz the amv output was audible, but my player plays it too soft a sound...

Any solution to this?

Like maybe the insert wav pane in the settings...

BTW, how do you compare v3.68 to v3.57 based on this thread?

blzbub, Not much difference between 3.57 and 3.68 if you are converting at 128x96 but if you want 128x128 then you will need 3.68.

Try some of the samples in the download section and see if the volume problem exists on them as well, if so it may well be a player issue rather than a conversion issue.

Seems like it...

My player seems to play amv's with low sound...

Eventhough it plays audio good and audible...

blzbub, Well if it is the player and you have the volume on full you may not be able to do much at all. If you are using the earphones that came with the player try a better quality pair you may notice a difference.
Otherwise your only option is try to increase the volume on the video file before converting to AMV.

blzbub, I have created a VirtualDub settings profile for you. Load your video into VDub then go File>Load Processor Settings and load the profile.
Then choose file save as AVI.
I have increased the volume 32%

I got to load that setting...

But as I've saved AVI, an Dub error prompt appeared...

It goes...

error initializing audio stream compression:
the audio codec cant compress the source audio to the desired format

check that the sampling rate and the no. of channels in the source is compatible with the selected compressed audio format.
