Ceedo - a Portable Working Environment

Ceedo revolutionizes the way you work and literally frees you from the confines of your desktop computer. Introducing Ceedo Personal - your personal, portable working environment, carried conveniently on your removable drive, ready to be used on any computer to plug into. Once you install Ceedo on your removable drive, it will be transformed from a simple storage gadget into a powerful plugged-in working environment for you to work with, anytime, anywhere.

Ceedo Personal Edition is an easy to use, powerful program that can be easily downloaded and installed on your removable drive, immediately providing you with a personal, portable working environment. Ceedo is compact and takes only about 2 MB of space, so much room is left for you to install programs and carry your data on your drive (depending on your drive's capacity).

Use the Ceedo Compact Bar to open the Ceedo Easy-Access Menu, and gain immediate access to your entire computer identity from any computer you plug into. You can now install and run your favorite programs, browse the web with your personal settings and favorite links, work with your preferred email client to send and receive emails, and easily access your data - all from a singe place.
I haven't received my MP4 yet but I would like to add this program. Is it a good thing to install ir or not? I mean, may I "destroy" my MP4 by adding this? Has anyone ever installed this before? Anything would be nice!

Thanks in advance,
Chiclete.

You have to pay for Ceedo after the 30 day trial. I use the PortableApps Suite from portableapps.com. Works great and is 100% free.

i am not too sure if mp4 players support it. i didnt even know that mp4 players support PortableApps Suite.

if you want to take a risk, then you can try it. i dont know the consequences. since delacerda has successfully used PortableApps, i suggest you use that only.

It's fine, it doesn't interfere with what you already have on your player. I use it on one of my mp3 players that i use as a portable USB drive.
It should be noted that although the program itself doesn't use alot of space, the applications and documents you add and run on it can.
You download it, run the install and it installs itself to the USB disk and sets itself up as a bootable drive. So far i haven't been able to use it on a computer that wasn't connected to the internet because it goes off to the Ceedo site to load up.. bit weird.

I have not yet used the PortableApps suite on an mp4 player (just ordered some to play with), but I have used it on several iPods and on a couple of my cell phones with memory cards (they show up as USB drives). In each case it works perfectly. As long as the mp4 player shows up as a USB drive, I can't think of anything that would not allow you to run it.
