AMV 3.68 converter not converting
 

I don't understand it. AMV 3.68 converter (96x64, 128x96, 128x128) just will not convert the sizes correctly.
128x128 The right 1/8 of the screen is missing.
96x64 Top of that has been cut off
and so on....

I've uninstalled, rebooted and re-installed but to no avail.
That said, the original version 3.57 installed correctly and worked!!!
Just beats me.

Can some please advise on how to over come this problem.

What size screen do you have? 1.5" or 1.8"?

The subject of your post saids "not converting" though reading your message, it seems like it's converting but not showing up in full screen on your player. Is that correct?

When you say "3.57 installed correctly and worked", does that mean you were able to convert the file at FULL screen?

Just want to clearify this up alittle.
Also, did you player come with a sample .amv file? If so, check the properties of that file and see what size it is (you can do this while playing it through the AMV Player on your computer).

Hi.
It's a 1.5 inch screen with stereo speakers and twin ear phone sockets.
However, the software worked fine up until the time of posting this.
The players are not faulty, they work fine in all aspects and both their own amv supplied films and those created by me.
I checked the created amv files and they were as stated on both the computer and our 2 different players (1.2/1.5 inch screens). All displayed incorrectly.
Old created files, prior to this work fine on the same player 3.68. and 3.37
own player. The AMV creations are now wrong and display as such.

I need 3.68 to create all 3 sizes. The smaller one for my 1.2 inch screen and the other two 128x96 and 128x128 for my wife's and kid's 1.5 inch screens.

That said, with the version 3.57 (only does the two smaller sizes) it creates both file sizes correctly and plays them correctly too. It also shows that the older file creations, prior to software problem, are also correct, and the faulty ones as incorrectly created.

Strange. If I knew what the codec was, I could have a look and see if it's been altered in some way. I am guessing, but it looks like a 'global' screen size setting that has been altered in the registry for 3.68.

Any further thoughts on the subject?
