Default FORMAT ERROR vs. video properties

Hey
Im just curious. Is it possible that the actuall properties (like fps, resloution etc) of the .avi or other video file ur convertin in .amv format to have any effect in the showin of the FORMAT ERROR msg.. I ask this coz for some video files u get that error and for some u dont. Also ive noticed that if you take a video file that when converted shows the error, and RECONVERTED to an .avi or .mpg format, when u try converting the same file into .amv again, and play it in ur player...u no longer get the error.
