OPPO V3H portable media player
Hello
Bought an Oppo V3H 'MP4' player in Beijing recently. Good screen - preloaded video files look great. Excellent sound quality. I can drag music files into this device via Windows Media Player but I cannot get video files to play. The preloaded movies are filename.avi but ordinary .avi files don't work. In fact - when I load them they don't even show up on the player's menu. Of course - the instructions and Oppo website are entirely in Chinese. Can anybody help? All advice gratefully received. |
Looks really nice, on those chinese websites that show it. Can't make anything out of it but "xvid 320×240". So you must convert your avi's to this resolution. Did you get a cd with it, if so it probably has a conversion program on it. I use PocketDivxEncoder, for my pda that has the same resolution.
What about a review? I would buy one if I knew how to get it from Beijing! |
mikemcdowall,
You will need specific transcoding/converting software which will convert it to the .avi file that your playre can play. It won't play DivX and Xvid movies by default, it needs to be converted. I know I have an .avi player, but none of the DivX or Xvid movies I have play on it. I have to use the included converting software which will convert it to an .avi file that my player recognises. Try searching our [Downloads] area for a "PMP Transcoding Tool" and see if that helps. |
