Default amv files only play a few seconds on my mp4 player


i got a 1gb mp4 player and wen i put amv files onto it..it only playz 3-5 secondz of the clip? anyone know how to fix this.... ive put about 30 clips on my mp4 player and only 6 out of the 30 play without a problem...
any help would be appreciated..

If they are all converted with the same right settings, it could be due to defragmentation of files. The processor in the player is so slow it can just handle file play, when there's a gap between data it gets stuck and terminates. You could try formatting it, and copy all the files over in 1 sequence.

i tried wat u said...but the same thing keeps happening...im not sure if its the player or the converter...thanks anywayz..aniwun else got a solution to this problem?

What size screen does your player have?
What version of the AMV converter are you using?
What codec pack do you have installed?

not sure on the size...but im using 'amvtransform 1.0.0.1' n dont hav any codec packz installed...6 of the clips ive converted work fine but the rest dont...
ive downloaded 2 other converterz but sayz i need version 9 or 10 of windows media player even tho ive got the latest media player...

Try installing the K-Lite Codec pack.

the k-lite codec pack didnt do anything i still have the same problem? its really getting on my nerves now..ive tried almost everything...
