@lautmandam
You could do a simple check by right clicking and then properties > advanced and check it's codec.
And do an advanced check by using a program called GSPOT which is free.

Default Re: Format error

ok i found the problem..if the amv convert copy the file itself on the player then evrething work great...but if i convert the video on the computer drive and after i drag it manually on the player then ..notjing work..

now i have another pro...my video are playing good but at each interval of 3 second the video do a little jump..i still can watch the video but it's a little disagrement

P.S the prob is when i encode the video because if i playback the video in windows env. then the problem still there

@lautmandam
I've always converted files to computer and then dragged it uppon MP4 (on my brother's MP4) and it has always worked.

Perharps you've been throught the same:

About video freezing, I would try a smaller fps / video size.

lautmandam,

You may have to LOWER the frames per second (fps) on your original video to match that of the .AMV format. It will 'jump' because if your original video has too many frames, during the .amv conversion, it will 'miss' those extra frames so the picture will appear 'jumpy'.

You can use a free tool such as "VirtualDub" which is freeware and also available for download in our [Downloads] --> [Tools] section of this site. This will let you change the frames per second.

Hope that helps.
