Default no. of songs playing in the set decrease


initially i was unable to play more than 56 songs even though there were some 120 songs in the player....then i deleted all the songs and again added 56 songs..but now i cannot play more than 41 songs....so again i deleted all the 56 songs and then added 41 songs....but now i cannot play more than 35 songs...i am confused....

please help me....

As i stated in your other post, you need to format the player.
I've just dealt with something similar in a friends player. Files kept corrupting and wouldn't play. Even though he was adding new copies of the files after deleting the old ones he found some of those wouldn't play. and each time he deleted and added mp3's he found he was losing space even though the number of files remained roughly the same. In Windows it said he had 930MB of files, but he really only had 315MB.
The fix was copying as much off the player and formatting it. Then copying the files back. It's worked fine ever since.

is there any way to reformat the player to get 1gb memory....my player's original capacity is only 233mb...

You never had 1GB of memory. It was a trick. You can't get back what you never really had. It will always be 233MB

sai_arun12 , your player physically only have a 256MB memory chip. If you "re-hack" the chip back to 1GB, you'll only have the same problems occurring again. Worse case, your player's processor might get corrupted and cause your player to fail.
