This is interesting... Could you post again the results from GSpot, or send them to me, because on my PC the image doesn't load.

To play video on specific player, you must set the correct framerate & resolution for this kind of player. And of course, the player must be able to play AVI (XVID), and NOT AMV files.

This is the player that I have: http://www.mympxplayer.org/album_sho...php?pic_id=403

And I play AVI files at 22-24 FPS with XVID video compression 320x240@400kbps, and MP2 audio compression @128 kbps.

As I see from the link you provided, the player is not capable of playing AVI files (only AMV etc...), and this explains why viDrop and other similar software does not work for you. And I think this is not RockChip player.

Hi,

For anyone who's come here interested in AVI creation for their Rockchip players, please see my full post here:
http://www.mympxplayer.org/previous-...r=asc&&start=0

If you follow those instructions and REMEMBER TO SELECT MP2 as the audio format, you should be OK ( I used xilisoft's dvdtomp4 converter).

what size screen you got?
if it's a 340x220 then there's a sample on this site.:-

Hi Irek,

If your player is a Rockchip player then please do not be sad - they are very good, and generally much better than Action/AMV players.
You may have lost your sample movie forever, but do not be worried - the people here, myself included, should be able to get you creating your own movies soon.

I suspect that your screen resolution is 220 x 176 based on your ebay link. With some software ( e.g. Xilisoft's dvd2mp4 converter) you need to use 224x176.

If you use Aviconverter as suggested by others here, please select 220x176 - and remember to actually rename the output file with a .avi extension ( I needed to do this with my version, but maybe not all versions need this).

I have found that Xilisofts dvd2mp4 converter works fantastically with both my 220(224)x176 and 320x240 units. Please see my earlier message in this thread, which will give you a link to some detailed information in using it.

Please do not give up with your Rockchip unit - I am sure we can get this problem solved for you!!

Irek,
I am sure your player is a Rockchip as you say; please can you take a look at the link below and confirm if your menu is the same ( or very very similar) to either the black one, or the silver one.
