ME2 Players

Hi, I have just received two ME2 players from Hong Kong. They are a lot like the ipod nanos, model ME2 stamped on back, screen size is 1.8", memory 2GB with USB port and earphone jack on bottom, the earphones that came with are 3.5 mm, unusual for players from Hong Kong. Does any one know anything about these players?

The disk that came with players has MP3 Utilities 3.52, but the process they have given for converting AVI files to AMV is about 15 pages long. Is it possible to use MP3 Utilities 3.68 instead?

Thanks!

I also had a player from ME2, it is the same quality as the former FMP from Uxcell, but in a nicer package

Hi, great. So I can trust that when they say 2 GB memory that it is 2GB and not hacked?

I can not confirm that because I bought a 1Gb player.

Hi, okay no problem. Did the player you got perform as it was supposed to??

Hotboxx 6th Apr 2007 4:28 pm

Yes, it was a good player, good build quality, the standard Chipod interface, but it gives me a stable and high quality impression.

Re: ME2 Players

Great, thank you so much! I have had 4 other no-name players so far and all of them were definitely hacked, so this is very encouraging that I may have finally found a good player!

Does your 1 GB play videos? If yes, did you happen to use the disk that came with your player to download the AMV Converter and do you know what version it was??

The player was able to play videos, it was delivered with a demo. Since I never use these players for video I can not give any feedback.

Okay, thank you anyway!

Is there anyone else out there who happens to know anything about ME2 players?

Thanks!

Hi Hotboxx,

Sorry to bother you again. Does your ME2 player need to be on or off when charging and what does the screen on player ususally say?

Do you also know what lights should be showing when player is fully charged while using AC Adapter (ex. just red, red and green or just green)?

Thanks!

Re: ME2 Players

Hi, I have found two sites on eBay that are selling ME2 players. I have bought 3 so far from the site below that is highlighted in red:

http://search.ebay.ca/_W0QQsassZsmile_plus168QQhtZ-1
http://search.ebay.ca/_W0QQsassZlaimanpQQhtZ-1

The only downfall is that they are both fairly new on eBay and they are located in Hong Kong (even though they say items are located in Canada, they always ship from Hong Kong) which means a couple of weeks before you see items! So far neither has any major negative feedback in regards to performance of players.

Hope this helps!
