[solved] Can't play videos...help
 

I bought a 2.4" 1gb mp4 player from hong kong, i can put pictures and music on it but i cant get it to play videos,i convert my videos to amv and put them in the player but they dont show up under video on the menu,it came with a sample ice age video that plays fine it is an .avi, my player is ver:00.00.001, any help would be great.

Your player is not an Action chip based .amv player, it is most likely a Rockchip player .avi compatible.

Use the site search link at the top left of the page and search for "Rockchip video conversion" or "AVConverter" there have been quite a few posts giving details for proper conversion.

Thanks a million! You guys are great. I had been working on this thing for a week with no luck,was about to throw it out the window,then you solved my problem,i downloaded the AVconverter 3.0 and it worked perfectly.
