No sound after AMV convert

I can sucessfully transcode video files to AMV on my home PC, but on a PC at work (that has no sound card fitted) using the same techniques the AMV file has no sound.

Any help apreciated.

Try install the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack from here on your work PC and see if that helps.

It might just be there isn't a codec installed on your work PC that can decode the sound into the .amv file.
