"Format Error" in 2" MP4 Player

Hi,

I have bought a 4GB 2" MP4 Player in eBay. I have got AMV Converter 4.09. I tried converting a video to 208*176(High) then it cant even play and it says "Format Error".Then i tried with 208*176(low) and this time it played the video but the fps went down and the video jumps in between. I keep on trying the lesser resolution till 160*120 but still some jumps are there in the video.

Can some body please tell me what might be the reason or is there any settings that i need to take care.

Thanks in advance,
Subhosh.

Glms, good thought, but that only works if Suki has a Rockchip player. If AMV converter came with the player, it is an Action chipset. AVI players will not play AMV format.

Suki, the first thing you need to do if you haven't done so already is follow the instructions "How to Remove a Memory Hack" on this website. Format errors are often caused by hacked memory. The player shows that the file has been downloaded, but when the memory is hacked to read more than what it is, it only loads part of the video or song, resulting in format errors.

Unfortunately, eBay is notorious for letting scammers sell hacked players. If your player is not the memory it should be, file a dispute with Paypal immediately and contact your seller. Who did you buy from?
