rotate image

i have a Snapbox x-40 mp4 player (it plays .amv files) that has a 1.5 inch screen. i am using MP3 player utilities 3.68 to convert videos to 128x128 to view them. i have 4 questions at this moment.

1) how can i rotate the video so i can turn the player sideways to view it? this way i would be able to view more of the video on screen.

2) i have an .mpg file that when converted, no audio can be heard, only some scratching sounds. the video plays well but the audio is just a scratching sound. i have tried and converted other .mpg files. i am also able to convert .avi file. i tried to convert the .mpg file to an .avi file but when converted to .amv, the same scratching occured.

3) i cant seem to be able to convert .mov or .mp4 files with the amv converter.

4) i am familiar with MP3 player utilities but is there another program out there that can convert to .amv?

can anyone help me?

If you want to rotate 128x128 use MP3 Player Utilities 4.0. Go to the AMV Converter folder and double click on the AMVTransform.ini to open it in notepad. Edit the following 2 settings to read.
BMPADJUST=4
CHIPTYPE=0
Then save it. Your AMV files will now be rotated.

If you are having trouble with sound and differrent audio formats it is most likely you need to install some codecs.
Download and install the latest version of K-Lite Full codec pack.

hey tadad1, MP3 Player Utilities 4.0 does not have a 128x128 video setting. can the AMVTransform.ini setting be done on 3.68?

That is why you need to change the setting to CHIPTYPE=0 which will activate the 128x128 settings.
No the rotate setting does not work in 3.68
