Danny, because your computer recognised it as Rockchip, then perhaps I was wrong!! Sorry about that!! Anyway, in my experience with Rockchip players, they need the movie to be in exactly the right format, with not even one pixel extra on the "X x Y" settings for the movie size. If your demo movie is 176x220, then perhaps try and encode a movie at that size. I cannot remember if Aviconverter gives that size as an option, but I have found Xilisofts DVD to MP4 converter to work perfectly. It's quite pricey, but you can download a demo version which should let you test things out, and I know you'll be able to type "176x220" in the Video Size option.
Please see my post above for details on using their software.
Cheers. iixorbiusii

Danny144,
some points here for you:
1. If you screen is 2.2 then you can't play 320x240, it must be 224x176 or 176x220...
2. You say that your videos are 176x220 then your screen handles videos turned 270°... have no sense to convert a video to 176x220 WITHOUT turning it -90° or 270° whatever option.
3. To solve your problem you have to use a special version of AVIconverter here; AVIConverter turned
I think this will work fine for you.
No other converter turns -90° and handles mp2, only this one.

Danny144...
I repeat... this is a special version of AVIconverter looks like the normal one, but it's not... was modded to turn videos.
This version solves the problems of mthuey in thread http://www.mympxplayer.org/solved-fi...il-vt6444.html
good luck

Hiya!
I have a nearly identical "mp4" player as this
http://www.mympxplayer.org/album_sho...php?pic_id=387
except mine's unbranded.
I have a problem converting videos to avi because I don't know its resolution. I had a sample video, an Ice Age 2 clip but I've erased it already.
The screen's dimensions are: 1.5" by 1.25".
Below the screen, where the pic displays MF-M568, Digital MP4 Player 945 is written.
My menu looks like the pic's but mine are arranged in 3 rows and 3 columns. please help me, anyone!

Hi Death,
One of my Rockchip's is nearly identical, and it's screen resolution is 224x176.
Please see my comments regarding the use of the xilisoft converter demo within this thread, or the other other solutions on offer from others here.
Cheers!

Danny144,

Out of topic... is your machine like this one?
This is a 2.4 rockchip machine that looks like the usual nano clone just turned 90°, also sport a slot Mini SD
