[solved] Videos won't play 'Format Error'
 

I bought a MP4 player from ebay a few months ago but it stopped working so i formatted it. The mp3's play fine as long as I do not add any folders but the videos wont play. I did have a sample video that was an AMV file but since formatting it has gone.
When I formatted the player did i lose the software(?) that plays the videos?

The MP4 player is: Core: ACT91N_0.50
FW: SRX-1.5C-007

xxchezxx , what did you use to format? i'll suggest that you use MP3 Utilities Disk Tools if you have not used it yet.

I just right clicked on my mp4 player when it was shown on My Computer and formatted it from there.

Thank You, it worked!! I had originally used mp3 utilities 4.05 but that didnt work, i then tried mp3 utilities 3.68 which seems to have done the trick!!!
