AMV videos to play vertical on 1.8" screen player

I used the amv convert 4.00 to change my mpg videos to amv files and I was successful however I have a 1.8 screen which is vertical but all my amv videos play horizontally.Does anyone know why or how to change this and make it play in the correct direction?

There are some settings which you can change in the transformsetup.ini file, that would rotate your videos.
