Incorrect Movie Length

Hi,
I have successfully converted one full length movie using MP3 Player Utils 4.15 and that works fine. However, I am now attempting to convert a second full length movie and both 4.15 and 3.68 report the movie length incorrectly and susequently do not convert all of the film (it is only some 30-odd mins) The file I am converting is in a single .VOB file format produced using DVD Decrypt set to no file splitting etc. and plays to the correct length in DVD Shrink.

Has anyone any thoughts on a solution please?

marti_p , i'm not exactly very good in AMV conversion, but for the first successful conversion, what file format was it originally in?

It could be .VOB is not supported by MP3 Utilities, and you'll need to convert it to a common format like .MPG or .AVI.

Hi lattesurf,
The first conversion was also in .VOB format. MP3 Utils does recognise / convert .VOB files. DVD Decrypt can be set to rip the film as one large .VOB file which allows for conversion within MP3 Utils. It may just be the particular film I am attempting to convert. When I have more time I shall attempt a different movie...........I was curious as to whether anyone else had had the same experience.

OK. Well I tried another movie .VOB and the same happens. Only around a third of the movie is converted! Does anyone know of a good .VOB to .AVI converter I could use to try lattesurf's suggestion. Preferably a free app!
