Video stops after 20 seconds - help!
 

I have a 1GB player that says SAMSUNG under the 1.8" LCD. It has the usual FM radio, JPG, Phonebook, video, etc. It only plays .amv files.

I finally managed to convert a .avi file to a .amv file. The video is 31 mins long and I can only get the first 20 seconds to play, then it stops by itself. Plus I can't figure out if there is a way to fast forward or any other control while it is playing. What brand is my player, why does it stop after 20 seconds, and is there an English manual for it?

The Stacy Orrico file plays fine so I guess it's my encoding that is bad.

I will read the FAQ on encoding and try again.
