Can't get player to play video files
I recently just got a new mp4 from China... it's a Unitbit X-813...
http://www.unibit.com.cn/eproducts_show.asp?id=187 And it says on that site that it supports avi and mpeg4 files, but when I put 'em on and try to play 'em, it goes, "error, unsupported format". Audio files work fine, apart from video, nothing else has a problem. Can anyone tell me what the hell wrong with this cheap chinese mp4?! -.- And no, I'm not being racist. I'm Chinese myself. But chinese stuff is cheap and they suck. |
Have you converted the videos? The little info I have found indicates that the max resolution for video is 320x240 up to 30fps. If the player came with a mini CD you may find a video converter on it.

The CD was in Chinese... and it just comes out with little squares and questions marks; I dunno what the heck to do =="
Are there any other good converters out there? EDIT: I've tried all these random converters and put the resolution down to 320 by 240, and it still has the "sorry, not supported" error. I'll install the chinese language on my comp when I get home from school today and check to see if the CD works at all. In the meantime, does anyone else have any suggestions? :D |
try this software, it might work.
it works for me. http://lokiisyourmaster.googlepages.....3-install.exe you need to convert your files to AVI with the proper resolustion, 320x240 |
It's exceeded bandwidth... and I just realised I lost my damn CD. TT
Does anyone else out here have a unibit mp4 and have something that works? |
Re: Help! I don't get how to work this crappy chinese mp4
Peace1230654,
Do you have a sample video file on your player? If that plays, then looking at the properties of that file will give you a better idea as to what file your player can play. |
Re: Can't get player to play video files
Damm I have the exact same problem with my OEM Onda vx858! And unfortunately have lost the preloaded file due to firmware problems. Does anyone have a solution as to how to overcome this problem, and do anyone have a mirror for viDrop, as that program might hold the answer.

I deleted the sample files :(
And the stuff on the CD doesn't work. I shove any video file in, and it goes: "VideoConverter_320240_NoSizeLimit" -.- I guess I can always email them as a last resort. At leasr unibit has a website and contact details :) Oh, I can't find a mirror for that thing up there. Guess we'll have to wait until its bandwidth goes back down to normal... |
Re: Can't get player to play video files
I have a 2nd Generation nano clone. 1.8 LCD 4GB. When I got it, it did play video files but now it tells me empty disk. When I look it from my computer it has a movie on it and will play on the computer but not the player. Everything else seems to work fine. How can I fix the video player. Ver:9.1.52
Thanks |
