Can't get audio when converting .mov to .amv

Hi there,
I have installed MP3 Player Utilities 4.15. I can convert .wmv to .amv. All works well. But converting .mov to .amv, the video is OK but I get no audio. I imagine it's some codec that I don't have. I've tried using klite and XP Codec Pack, with no success.

You need the latest quicktime player which would come with the necessary audio codec (Sorensen?) With Linux' mplayer, the necessary codec would be easily identified (isn't there mplayer for Windows, too?)

You may want to also convert the .mov to an .avi or .wmv format, then convert it to .amv using the MP3 Player Utilities. I've found that way works. It's abit of a pain doing a two way step, but I found it works more better and if you also convert it to the right screen size when you convert the .mov to an .avi, you will find converting it to an .amv after that will give you slightly better quality as well.
