AMV converter 2.2"

I recently bought a Chinese MP4 player from an online shop in Australia. It has a 2.2' screen and plays 320x240 resolution.

The supplied CD provided AMV Tool 4.0 and 3.86 but neither have the resolution for the player and I get the dreaded "file format error" message.

The box it came in called it "My Music" and the player is 2 GB plus 2GB SD slot.It has a power switch on the bottom and 6 buttons on the top.The screen is mounted along the length of the player.

The system information says "Ver:01.08.0000" and "Date:2007-08-29".

It came with a Japanese music video clip whose properties show .avi 320x240 at 22fps.

Any help in getting a converter that will work with this machine would be appreciated.

I posted a guide on increasing AMV frame rates, in the Support and How To section.

Its called "Shut up those IPOD Gits!". It explains how to edit the AMVTransform.INI file.

You will need to get MP3 Player Utilities 4.15 to use with this piece. It's in the downloads section of this site.

I have used it to generate 320x240, it works fime with the PC AMVPlayer tool but I cannot test it as my player is max 208x176.

If this doesn't work on your player then you will probably have to accept the default of 208x176.

There is a freeware tool, I think its by Bytessence
that may have 320x240.

Your player will be RockChip based which plays AVI format videos not a Actions based which plays AMV format videos.

Search under downloads, or go to this page http://www.mympxplayer.org/tools-dc10.html to look for a RockChip video converter.
