is there better software than AVIConverter to do DVD to AVI
 

Hi

Is there any better software for converting than AVIConverter for chinese rockchip touchscreen players.as AVIConverter only does 1 vob file at a time so you then have to join them together after you convert is there software that does the joining and converting in one go.

Have tried alot of other avi converters like winAVI video converter etc :( but none work with these dingy chinese touchscreen players all i get is file format error

There is another tool for converting to .avi created by another member (lokster) called viDrop.

However, looking at what you want to archieve, I wonder if it's easier to get a AVI Converter software that joins all VOB files firstly before using the AVIConverter tool to convert it to the correct format to view on the player....? I haven't converted DVD to AVI for a long long time now so alittle out of touch with what software to use that will do it. I'm sure other members can help out here too.
