Help using ViDrop to convert

Hi,
Can anyone help me by posting a detailed explaination of how to use ViDrop converter please. I've tried and tried fiddling with the settings but still get file format error on my player! I can't seem to get the resolution to come out as 320x240. I have succesfully converted using AVIconverter 3 which came with the player but audio sync is awful! But I don't think you can alter any settings????

Thanks

Re: Help using ViDrop to convert

Try these settings for your Rockchip-Player with RK2608A-Chip and size 320x240:

Video:
Codec: xvid
Width: 320
Height: 240
Bitrate:400
fps: 20 (if you wish to convert PAL-Videos) or
fps: 24 (if you wish to convert NTSC-Videos)

Audio:
Codec: mp2
Srate:44100
Bitrate: 128 (or lower)

Extra Mencoder Parameters: -vf-add expand=320:240:-1:-1:1

...and beware of the batchjob @ the moment, sometimes the height won't be resized correctly.

Hi,
Many thanks for that......do I need to alter any of these settings if i'm converting an AVI file downloaded from a torrent site or am I best converting from a DVD?

Hi again,

Just converted using these settings and picture and sound quality were very good! Unfortunately the lip sync begins to drift off, what setting do I need to tweak to overcome this?

Try to lower one or both bitrates - Synchronity is a big problem on many RockChip-Players and you have to findout by yourself which rates are best for your player - i'm fighting against this trouble since months ago...
