Was just curious if anyone else has or has used this player. I am having some trouble getting video to play on it, so if you have used this one before please contact me, perhaps you can tell me what I am doing wrong.

As it turns out, it seems this is a NOYA brand, at least that's what it tells me when it is connected to windows.

I can transfer .amv and .wmv files to the player, but it always says 'invalid file format' when I try to play them. I have formatted the player.

Any thoughts?

I have a Memorex MMP8585 player and the manual says to use MP3 Player Utitilies v5.10, but a google search for version 5.10 pulls up nothing at all.

Does anyone know if v5.10 even exists or do you think it is a typo and supposed to be 4.10?

Any advice is appreciated.

Also, this is what my device says I need to have to convert videos to work on it, if anyone knows a program that will convert videos to either of these specs, please let me know.

AVI decoder: xvid, size: 128 x 128 resolution,
Frame Per Second: 30fps max, Bit
Rate: 768 kbps max, Frequency Range: 8-

CBR)

WMV decoder complexity: simple profile, size 128 x
128 resolution, Frame Per Second: 30fps max,
Bit Rate: 384 kbps max, Frequency Range: 8-
