Confused with converting
Hello there, my name is Andrew, and I am from Romania (if you never heard of it don't ask.) and I have problems playing videos on my 1GB Ipod clone that looks almost like this: http://us.f560.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Sho...ox=%40B%40Bulk
except: Different firmware, and the button "volume" seen in the video is not existant at mine i have the play / pause button there. I think that my screen size is 128x96 please confirm that if possible, and I can't get it to play videos. Whatever I did I was getting the well known chinese remakes signature message: "Format erro" , don't get me wrong I love my little piece of chinese culture and craftmanship, I spent half my salary on it (that's how low you get paid in Romania). And yes I also deleted the sample video on it <sigh>. Please someone help and before asking me if i converted and all that yes I mostly did everything possible, as described here and there on this forum. this place is really good people are nice, all help each other and that's why i'm here. Thank you all in advance! 8) |
Hi Andrew Z,
Do you know if it plays .AMV or .AVI videos? I'm guessing it's .AVI as the majority of the Rockchip players play .AVI and get the "format error" as the screen size of the converted video is not in the correct size. Do you know what screen size your player is? The link you provided in your post looks like it's from your YahooMail message which we don't be able to see as we don't know your usename or password to log into your account. Do you have URL to where you bought it from etc...? |
Re: Confused with converting
Oh my god million excuses, it shoulded have been a youtube video link, it was late (about 4: AM) i was tired and all and I didn't check the link, now i look at it it's the link to the E-mail that I had to confirm for mympxplater.org :D. Well here is the working link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=kI4-cjmIYvE. I guess my little thing should play .avi or .amv or something. The screensize is something like... <Scratches> 128x96 or 96x128 either way. When converting videos as I said earlyer I did everything that worked for other people here, but still nothing, my oppinion is that my Mp4 player is 'slightly different'... Oh and another thing, when I turn it on it sais: Welcome and under that sais ROCKCHIP maybe thus us helpfull. I got this thing from where I work, at a local web development company and we're in partnership with this cellphone shop, and they also sell Ipods, and clones so I went for the clone because of it's price and cooler features.
