Video playing on ME2 player

I've had this mp4 player for a while now (it's a ME2 player) and when i first got it, there was a sample video on it, but i deleted it since i'd never watch it. now i tried to put another video on it, but it doesn't show up=/
and another thing is that I have an Apple Computer (mac) so it's hard to find downloadable applications to try to get it to work, that will actually work on my computer=/

Hi, do you know what firmware it is running? If you had a picture or link of your player that might help us identify what type of video you need.

There are a variety of reasons that the video you downloaded doesn't show up. While these players are listed as MP4s, most won't actually play that format. The most common formats are AMV and AVI and downloads of both converters can be found on this board. It also depends on your screen size. A wrong size picked on the converter will cause problems.

i went to firmware version and here is what it says:

Fw: B835K8V2.0
Core: 9.0.50

and here's a link to one that's exactly like mine (as far as i can tell):

You're right, that helps alot. Alright, it plays AMV format.

The different versions including the most recent of the converter can be found in the downloads section of this board here --> MP3 Player Utilities.

On a 1.8 inch screen the size setting should be 160x120. Hope this helps.

FYI, never upgrade your firmware, you will most likely brick your player.
