need help to rotate video on small mp4 player

I have a mp4 player bought in China (Newman m520 1GB) with a tiny screen. It came with a software called Avi converter setup 5 that will convert video so that it will play on the mp4 player. If I look at the converted file with Gspot, the file is 400kbps, 128x128, 15fps, xvid 1.1.0, avi ver 1, mpeg1 Layer 2 96kbps.
I want to rotate the video 90 degrees. I looked at the ini file in the software and have pasted part of it as follows. Is there a way to edit the ini file to rotate the video 90 degrees, or is there another Avi converter that I can get and still convert to the above parameters? I noticed there is a Avi converter listed in the Download section, but it doesn't have the above parameters.

Based on that .ini file, no, it doesn't have the needed parameters to do so.

Is the "program" they sent you just a gui for an open source converter?

Either way, I think virtualdub has the ability you're looking for.

I don't think the special version of AviConverter you listed will work. I installed it and it doesn't support 128x128 which my player needs. Your question about is this a gui for open source software, I don't really understand that question. The software is a large rectangle. Along the bottom is Add, Delete, Convert Now, Stop, Close. I can choose from several resolutions and aspect ratio. Everything else is fixed and cannot be changed. I tried using Virtual Dub Mod and also TmpGenc 4 Exp, but neither of these programs will yield a 400kbps bitrate. When I select 15fps and 128x128 and 400kbps, the encoding on both softwares is (changed) at about 128kbps. Raising the bitrate to 1000kbps or higher, still yields a bitrate of about 128 kbps. Only the supplied AVi Converter will yield 400kbps and 128x128 and 15fps. I was successful to use Virtual DubMod to rotate the video 90 degrees and then use the supplied Avi Converter to do the necessary conversion, but I don't want to process the video 2 times. I want to be able to rotate and convert all in one process.

I was able to modify the ini file in my AVI Converter 5 so that I can rotate the the video when using resolution 128x128. ( Must choose Full Aspect ratio when rotating.) If someone wanted to rotate other resolutions or use other frame rates (than 15fps), I think if you study the ini file for a while you can see what is necessary to change. Following is the ini file.
